Artist Biography

Charlotte Garrett was born in east Africa and started painting as a young girl. In her early twenties her total focus was on her family, being the best mother that she could be. Once her children were successfully on their own, she refocused her passion on painting.

Her primary medium is watercolor and she has also worked with acrylics on murals. The subjects of her paintings include landscapes, nature close-ups, wildlife, coastal scenes, portraits, and pet portraits. She began showing her work publicly in 2003.

Charlotte's home and art studio are located in Oriental, North Carolina, which she shares with her husband Charlie and their dog, Sophie.
